Services Offered
Boat Excursions Services Rental
Our platform allows users to rent excursions services on boats of various types and sizes. Boat owners are responsible for keeping them in good working order and ensuring that they comply with applicable regulations.
Insurance and Protection
We offer our users civil liability insurance to guarantee their protection during the lease. The insurance covers possible damages to third parties, but does not include damage caused by negligence or improper use of the boat.
Payments and Cancellations
Payments are made through our platform, using secure and trusted payment methods. Users can cancel their reservation, but the cancellation policies vary according to the conditions of the different boat owners.
User Obligations
Proper Use of Boats
Users must use the rented boats responsibly and respect the navigation regulations applicable to the territory where they navigate. The use of the boats for illegal, fraudulent activities or activities that may involve any type of risk for the crew, passengers, bathers and/or the boat is prohibited.
Maintenance and Return
Users will be responsible for complying with the rules set by the owner of the boat and those stipulated in current legislation, likewise, they will be responsible for making good use of the boat, ensuring its good condition during the lease. At the end of the lease, they must return the boat in the same condition in which they received it.
Limitations of Liability
Our platform acts as an intermediary between the users and the boat owners. We are not responsible for any damages or losses that may arise during the lease, except in cases of negligence on the part of our company.
Modification of Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will take effect immediately after they are posted on our platform.
Cancellation policy
Specific cancellation terms:
1. Cancellation regulations due to adverse weather conditions:
If weather conditions prevent sailing on the reserved date, both parties can agree to postpone the rental, having to notify Sailing Trips Mallorca.
In such a situation, and exclusively if the duration of the rental is one day or less, we will refund the total amount of the reservation, excluding Service Fees and the Sailing Trips Mallorca Commission, as long as Sailing Trips Mallorca is notified in writing, no later than the day before the rental.
In the framework of a reservation with a Professional Owner, the commercial conditions of the Professional Owner will apply. Said owner can offer the renter a refund or a change of dates for the reservation.
In case of reimbursement, the Professional Owner will return the amount paid by the lessee, excluding the Service Fees and the Sailing Trips Mallorca Commission, which Sailing Trips Mallorca will reimburse in the form of a credit valid for one year.
2. Cancellation regulations: Flexible cancellation
Full refund up to 1 day before the collection, excluding Service Expenses and Sailing Trips Mallorca Commission. The user will receive a full refund of the reservation (excluding Service Expenses and Sailing Trips Mallorca Commission) if he cancels at least one day before the collection (at the time indicated in the owner’s announcement, the one agreed between the users through the system Sailing Trips Mallorca courier or at 0:00 local time if not specified). If the user arrives and decides to end the rental before the scheduled date, the days not used on board the ship will not be refundable. Cancellation policy: Moderate · Reimbursement of up to 70 % up to 10 days before collection, excluding Service Expenses and Sailing Trips Mallorca Commission. If the user cancels the reservation at least 10 days before the collection (at the time indicated in the owner’s announcement, the time agreed between the users through the Sailing Trips Mallorca messaging system or at 9:00, local time, otherwise has been specified), you will be reimbursed up to 70 % of the total amount of the reservation (excluding Service Fees and Sailing Trips Mallorca Commission). If you cancel less than 10 days prior to pickup, norefund will be made. If the user arrives and decides to end the rental before the scheduled date, the days not used on board the ship will not be refundable.
3. Cancellation regulations: Strict
Reimbursement of up to 60 % up to 30 days before the collection excluding Service Expenses and Sailing Trips Mallorca Commission. If the user cancels the reservation at least 30 days before the collection (at the time indicated in the owner’s announcement, the one agreed between the users through the Sailing Trips Mallorca messaging system or at 9:00, local time, otherwise has been specified), you will be refunded 60 % of the total amount of the reservation (excluding Service Fees and Sailing Trips Mallorca Commission). If you cancel less than 30 days prior to pickup, no refund will be made. If the user arrives and decides to end the rental before the scheduled date, the days not used on board the ship will not be refundable.
4. Cancellation regulations: Tailor-made *
The specific cancellation conditions of the owner that apply are those indicated in their advertisement in the “Cancellation conditions” part.
Reservation cancellation
To make a cancellation, users must inform Sailing Trips Mallorca in advance by email at [email protected]
The cancellation will only be effective after Sailing Trips Mallorca sends an email notifying that the cancellation has been processed.
Applicable Laws and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the country in which our platform operates. Any dispute or claim related to the use of our services will be resolved in the competent courts.
