There are beautiful days in Mallorca… and then there’s this one: a total solar eclipse at sunset. On 12 August 2026, we will set sail from Palma to experience the phenomenon from the best possible “seat”: the sea, with no buildings, no hills, and a wide-open horizon to the west.
This trip is designed to be enjoyed at a relaxed pace: first, sailing and the afternoon atmosphere; then positioning ourselves in an area with good visibility; and finally, returning as the sky changes colour and the bay transforms. On board, you’ll have a professional skipper focused on the route and safety, so you can concentrate on what matters most: watching, feeling, and remembering.
It’s an experience for those looking for more than just a boat trip: a memory that doesn’t come around again.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
The activity is subject to weather and sea conditions that allow safe sailing. If the trip must be cancelled for safety reasons, a refund or an equivalent alternative will be offered. Eclipse visibility depends on atmospheric factors (clouds/haze). In case of low visibility, the trip may still take place as an “Eclipse & Sunset” sailing experience without guaranteeing full viewing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need prior sailing experience? No. The skipper takes care of everything. You just enjoy.
Where will we watch the eclipse from? We will depart from Palma and sail to find a point with a clear horizon to the west, avoiding visual obstacles.
Is it suitable for children? Yes, as long as they are accompanied by an adult and follow the safety guidelines. If you’re coming with minors, ask us about ages and recommendations.
What should I bring on the day? Swimwear if you like, a light jacket for the return, sun protection, and above all certified eclipse glasses (ISO 12312-2) for the partial phases.
What happens if the weather is bad? If it isn’t possible to sail safely, we will offer a refund or an alternative. If the sea conditions allow the trip but there is cloud cover, the experience will go ahead at sea without guaranteeing full visibility.
